Resident Choice Dining
Summit Living Center provides a Resident Choice Dining program with a full service menu offered daily. Residents, employees, families, and the community may order items from the menu between the hours of 7am and 7pm daily. To view a copy of the menu....click here.
Specialized Services
Residents who have specialized needs such as those who are ventilator dependent, have a tracheotomy, wound care issues, or feeding tubes will be considered for admission. Summit Living Center is the only facility in Central and Northwestern Oklahoma to provide long-term ventilator care.
Activity Program
A wide range of activities are offered seven days a week at Summit Living Center including religious services, games, parties, educational studies, and exercise programs. The residents also enjoy playing a wide variety of Wii games and have fun with the interactive games and friendly competition. A dedicated resident computer with DSL internet access is available so that residents may surf the web or communicate with their family members and friends through email. Educational activities are also provided on the internet and the activity staff are available to assist the residents with learning how to use the computer and the internet.
Safety and Security
The entrances and exits at Summit Living Center are secured by a magnetic egress system and the doors can only be opened by inserting a code at the main entrance. All exit doors are integrated into the fire alarm system and are also on a manual override switch. Summit Living Center also has a video surveillance system that monitors common areas for safety and security.
Respite Care
Respite care is offered at Summit Living Center for a minimum of three days to a maximum of thirty days. Respite care is private pay and both semi private and private rooms are available. During the respite stay, the nursing staff will provide all necessary personal care, medication administration, and meals for the established daily rate.
Respite care is ideal for primary caregivers who would need a break. Respite care is an ideal solution for the care giver who would like to take a vacation, visit family, or have guests in their home.
